This QR code app was probably not intended to have a great impact on society. It is this app that changed mobile computer science principles and app inventor for computer programmers. The simplicity of the app is amazing, even less abstract apps have sold less. This free app allows any individual to open a program, page, or app with just one code. The QR reader opens camera, and you take a picture of the "code" which appears in a box. After the picture is taken the app asks you if you want to download the program, this can be a webpage or an app. I have seen these code for the app on publicly sold products like boxes of cereal, on advertisements and on websites or printed handouts. When in making an app for the phone i use the computer to make it, but this is how I put the app on my android phone to test it. This app is simple and easy for people who are not technologically capable. The further we get into the 2000s, the world will become more and more surrounded by technology and this app with only help speed things up. Now if you want an app, a picture, a website, or anything downloadable on an android device really, you can have it with just one picture.

Pages is another app used for writing assignments and other letters. You start either with a blank template or use a pre-created one labeled business letter, modern report, term paper, essay, note taking, etc. Then you can add text boxes, graphs, and other things you want to implement in your document. This app is online and allows an individual to collaborate with others, and send a copy to whomever and print. Whoever else can look at the document can check spelling, word count, comment, and send feedback. The more detailed templates include envelope setup, business cards, resumes, newletters, cerificates, postcards, posters, and flyers. The customization options included in this app are way more advanced than any other writing application I have ever used.
This app called Prezi is a way to present assignments and other business tasks. Instead of using Microsoft word or PowerPoint, you can create your own presentation on a more easily understood, simpler, online based application. The student can choose a template to start, and from there it gives you tools and stencils to put in your slides. I think Microsoft presentations have more advanced setup, making Prezi look way easier. It also gives you the option to work on or offline, and at the very end when the project is finished it gives you the option to email it wherever it needs to go.
This next app i found is called MyHomework. It incorporates a planner and notification system. MyHomework allows students to electronically keep track of their homework and other assignments. MyHomework includes a calendar, notepad, and other personalization qualities. Alarms can be set in order to remind the student when due dates are closing in. Teachers can also use the app to remind and connect with their students about assignments, due dates, and can put other things on their too. This app reminds me of GoogleClassroom, but with more personal features. Different classes are sorted into dissimilar categories where the assignments can be electronically turned in. This app is an online trapper keeper.
The first app that I am going to review is sketchbook. This is a free app that I was introduced to this year in art class. One of our assignments was digital painting, and this is the app we were required to use. It reminds me a windows paint on my computer but with Photoshop elements. With different utensils and stencils, anyone can make a realistic picture and save it directly to their iPad. Sketchbook can be used not only for art class, but also for projects requiring a picture not directly from the internet. With this app, we eliminate markers and paper from the classroom and venture further into a fully developed classroom using only computers to learn.
